Kabuki: Quantum Fighter is a side-scrolling action platformer for the NES, released in 1991. The game is set in a futuristic world where a computer virus has infected the Earth's defense systems. The player, Colonel Scott O'Connor, is transformed into a Kabuki warrior using the Image Transfer System, which converts his brain into binary data. The objective is to navigate through six levels of intense combat to confront the virus and save the planet. The gameplay features unique mechanics, such as using the player's hair as a whip to attack enemies and throwing computer chips for ranged attacks.
