Friday the 13th: The Game for PS4 is a third-person horror, survival game where players can take on the role of a teen counselor or for the first time ever, Jason Voorhees. The game features a semi-open world with maps spanning multiple iconic locations from the movie franchise. Players can choose to play as either Jason Voorhees or a Camp Counselor trying to survive the night. The game includes various maps, each with its own unique challenges and objectives. Players can unlock and customize new playable counselors or Jason models, and spend customization points on new kills for Jason or game-changing perks for their counselors. The game also features a single-player mode via an update announced for a Summer 2017 release.
